1. What are the Five Laws of Library Science ? Explain its significance in the context of information services. 3+15
2. What is professional association ? Discuss the activities of two professional associations in India in the field of library and information science. 6+12
3. Discuss different categories of library users and their information needs. 18
4. What is networking ? Discuss any two library and information network systems established in India. 6+6+6

5. What do you mean by resource sharing in library ? How ICT can help to fulfil the objectives of resource sharing ? — Discuss.
