Instructions To The Candidates

** Use only black/blue ink ball point pen to fill in the OMR st›eet.
** Write/mark your Roll Number (all eight digits) and Version as Con the left hand side of the OMR sheet  basic data part.

** Fill in the OMR sheet carefully as per the instructions given on the back of the OMR sheet.
** The test consists of two Parts, viz. Objective Test and Descriptive Test.

** In the objective Test there are 100 Objective Type multiple choice questions which ate to be answered in75 minutes.

** Descriptive Part is a test on English Language writing skill of 30 min Max duration for 40 marks.
** After opening the Question Booklet at 10.30 A.M., ensure that there are I to XI Questions and that the printing of all the questions are legible.

** If there are any missing or illegibly printed questions, the matter may be reported to the invigilator immediately.

** There are 4 options (A, B, C & D) for each objective type question.
** Mark your answer corresponding to each question number by darkening the corresponding bubble on the OMR sheet with a ball point pen (black/blue ink).

** For every correct answer 1 mark will be awarded and for every incorrect answer 1/3 mark will be deducted from the total marks scored.
** Marking of more than one bubble against a question number on the OMR sheet shall be considered as incorrect answer.

** Erasing, overwriting, partial marking, etc. are not permitted.
** Answers to the questions in the Descriptive Test have to be written on the sheets attached to the question paper itself.

** The Roll No. of the candidate should be written only in the column provided on the top of the question booklet and it should be attested by the invigilator.
** Candidates will not be allowed to use Calculator, Logarithm table, Mobile phone or any other electronic equipment in the examination hall.

** The answer sheets should be returned to the invigilator.
** The Candidate’s Copy of the OMR Answer Sheet shall be obtained from the Invigilator before leaving the examination hall.

** Answer keys of the Objective Test will be published in the websites lbskerala.com and lbscentre.org after the test.
** Complaints, if any, from the candidates regarding the answer keys with valid proof may be sent to the Deputy Director (EDP), LBS Centre for Science and Technology, so that it may reach his office within five calendar days from the date of publication of the answer keys.

** The envelope containing the complaint should be superscribe HC-Complaints regarding answer keys.
** Complaints not substantiated with supporting documents will not be considered.
** However, the decision of the experts regarding such complaints on the answer keys shah be final.

** Candidates will be allowed to leave the hall only after the completion of the time allotted for the test. (i.e. after 12.15 P.M.).
** The answer sheets of candidate who resort to any kind of malpractice during the test will not be valued
