2. It is generally presumed that the law is the mirror of the society, but in India, law is being used on a large scale as an instrument to change the society. Is it feasible- Discuss and illustrate by suitable examples. (12)

3. What are the main issues involved is the controversy regarding relationship between law and morals- How far can the law be used to enforce morality- Comment. (12)

4. “Law is the body of knowledge and experience with the help of which a large part of social engineering is carried out in the society.” Discuss the above statement of Prof. Pound reference to social transformation in India. (12)

5. “Acceptance of Caste is a factor to undo past injustices.” Discuss this statement in the light of case law and recommendation made by various commissions. (12)
6. Comment on the Role of Law in welfare State. (12)

7. Write an essay on role of law in political reforms in India. (12)
8. Comment on the socialistic approach to law and justice in India. How far the socialistic ideology has influenced the framing of the directive principles of the state policy in the Indian constitution- (12)
